Yes. Clover POS devices only work (can only be activated) with the bank purchased from. You do need to sign up with JaimePOS to purchase any Clover POS. Here are the perks of processing with JaimePOS:

The Clover Go does not need paper/ does not have paper roll compartment. You have the option of emailing or texting receipts.

The Clover Go G1 app will be discontinued after March 31st. To ensure merchants’ mobile processing isn’t disrupted, please encourage them to download the newly enhanced Clover Go app on their mobile device from the App Store® or Google Play Store ® before March 31.
